Atlético Madrid visit Nunawading City FC

Atlético Madrid visit Nunawading City FC

A wonderful experience, thank you Atletico Madrid coaching staff, international sports co-ordinator & 11 year Atletico Madrid player Fabio Futre, UEFA Pro coach Javier Alonso Delgad , UEFA A coach Alberto Carrasco and Goal keeper co-ordinator Curro Galan

They observed our training and also offered and delivered 2 technical practices that our U12/13 and U14 players experienced and executed. As you can see in video below, the coaches then reviewed the session and commented on the excellent attitude of the players too.

It was a world class experience, thank you Atletico Madrid, hope to see you soon again.

Graham Arnold announces squad for 2020 AFC U-23

Jake Brimmer & Pierce Waring, our own Nunawading juniors make this national team squad as announced by Graham Arnold.

A mix of Hyundai A-League-based players and eight professionals currently contracted abroad will convene in Southeast Asia next week as Australia prepares to compete in Group H of qualification from March 22 to 26.

Following the week-long camp in Kuala Lumpur – which will include friendly fixtures against Malaysian Super League side Petaling Jaya City FC (14 March) and the Malaysian U-22 National Team (17 March) – Australia will shift its base to Phnom Penh where a first-place finish in Group H would seal a place at the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship.
